This company is great.
"This company is great. They will get all my garage door needs from now and until I die.
I needed a new opener installed. I know to get estimates, I called Premium Garage Doors first and talked with a guy that said I’d be looking at a total of about $600 to install the opener I bought. My next call was to Overhead Garage Door and was told that they had to send someone out to give a quote, it would be free, so, ok, so I made an appointment to send them out. The third was ProLift.
The person I spoke with was friendly and understood my needs and also said that a tech would have to come out and see to give a quote, it was also free… unlike Precision, who charged $85.
So the next day when Overhead was supposed to come, I got a call from the tech and he said he needed my address. I told him I gave all that info to the lady I spoke with. He apparently did not get my address for the service call nor my number. Well, when he called me and I told him that I was looking to just get the quote for an installation that then was told, they do not install customer-bought openers. They only sold the package of buying theirs and installing it.
Ok, so I asked him how much that would be, telling him of the features of the one I bought thinking if it was close, I could go return what I bought. He estimated that it would be about $1300. Now, keep in mind I bought mine for under $300. I told him to have a nice day. lol
So the next day ProLift showed up on time. The tech was courteous and very professional. Now I wasn’t home but my son was. Within 10 min of his arrival, I was quoted $250 for the install. I will say, that was totally acceptable. I gave the go-ahead and the job was completed in about hour.
So this tells me those other companies are charging like $600 an hour to do an installation!!!!!!!!!
If you are thinking of using these guys and are reading this, rest assured you are in good, fair, and competent hands. I can’t say enough good words here."
